Seville Oldest Taverns Tour

tapas tour

They’ve been doing tapas in Seville for a long time, and though it’s a tradition that has changed through the centuries, there are still places where you can catch a glimpse of ages past. Our Seville Oldest Taverns Tour takes you to four legendary bars, most over a hundred years old (the youngest is 88, the oldest 368) where you can enjoy a tapa and a drink that is particular to each bar. On the way we will entertain you with the history (both real and mythical) of tapas, the place of tapas in Seville’s past and present culture, and handy tips about the etiquette of tapas bars. You will also see something of the city, and we will give you advice on the best things to see and do during your stay.

The price – 65€ per person – includes one tapa and a drink at each of the four bars visited on the tour. If you would like anything extra just let your guide know and they will help you order and pay at the bar. NOTE: this tour is not available during July & August and is not suitable for children or people with dietary restrictions unless arranged as a private tour.

The Seville Oldest Taverns Tour is available lunchtimes (13.00 – 16.00 pm) and evenings (8.00 – 11.00 pm) Monday to Saturday, with groups limited to a maximum of 8 people to keep them personal. The tour begins at the Cathedral and finishes at the Metropol Parasol in Plaza Encarnación. At the end you’ll get some written information on where and what to eat, and other tips on enjoying your stay in Seville.
